On Friday 28th August Laura, Bella, Prudence, Cyriss, Te Kakano, Matai and I went to Alpine Ice.
At Alpine ice we had ice skating lessons that we could do if we wanted to although the junior school had to.
They had to because they either didn't know how to skate or needed more practice.
Some funny things on the day was one junior tried to push his little sister over; he ended up pushed himself over with his sister. Another funny thing was my friend Cyriss going really fast and crashed into the wall.
On Friday I learnt how to skate faster, how to stay balanced, and learning from that I didn't fall over at all. My friends and I had a blast, I don't know what I'm doing next year for winter fun day.
On Friday I learnt that if I can ice skate I must be able to rollerblade and roller skate. Overall I had a great day and I hope the rest of my class did at Mt Hutt.
